Maiden, N.C. – Bassmaster Elite Series pro Hank Cherry has agreed to represent the Reel Men Fishing Team by focusing on spreading the word about the organization and helping them raise money. The Reel Men Fishing Team is a 501 ( c ) 3 non-profit organization made up of anglers and companies that are working to raise money for the families of fallen military personnel.

Cherry stated, “The U.S. special operation forces from all branches of the military are made up of amazing individuals, they are truly the best of the best in every aspect. These men and women have not only signed up to defend our freedom, they’ve gone beyond that by volunteering to serve as part of our special operations forces. It’s an honor and a privilege for me to help get the word out about the Reel Men Special Forces Fishing Team to help the families of true American heroes.”

The Reel Men Fishing Team is made up of a group of anglers, mostly active or retired Army Special Forces. Collectively the team has over 188 years of active military service. They seek donations, from private parties and companies, that are distributed to charities in support of families of fallen military personnel.
