Gamakatsu® B10S Stinger: Lighter, Thinner, and Stonger

Tacoma, Washington (May 19, 2020) -Bass bug junkies and streamer aficionados have been fans of the B10S Stinger since it was first released. Now, Gamakatsu gives fly anglers another reason to cheer with the addition of Nano Smooth Coat and Tournament Grade Wire to their favorite hook.

The B10S Stinger already has the ideal shape, gap and shank length to tie flies for a variety of species, so improving on it wasn’t easy. Gamakatsu’s engineers employed their Tournament Grade Wire when upgrading the B10S Stinger, making it lighter, thinner, and sharper than before while improving strength. Even the hardest hook sets and toughest fish can’t bend the Tournament Grade Wire in the new B10S.

Gamakatsu also applied Nano Smooth Coat to the new, enhanced Stinger. This innovative technology affixes minuscule particles to the hook’s surface, which align with each other and fill the metal’s microscopic pores. This results in a super slick coating that reduces resistance, allowing for faster hook sets and surer penetration. The subdued, matte finish provides a stealthy presentation, so even the most wary fish won’t be cued into it.

From carp to trout, largemouth to stripers, the new Gamakatsu B10S Stinger is the ideal chassis for your favorite fly.

B10S Stinger Features:

  •  Tournament Grade Wire construction is thinner, stronger and sharper
  • Nano Smooth Coat finish for faster hookups and stealth presentations
  • Available in sizes 6, 4, 2, 1, and 1/0
  • Sold in packs of 20
