Cabela’s North American Bass Circuit Announces 2014 Tournament Schedule

The Cabela’s North American Bass Circuit (NABC), released the tournament locations and dates for the up-and-coming season. 

The 2014 Cabela’s NABC circuit is better than ever with expansion to the Southeastern, US with a new Southeast Region in its first full year on some of the best lakes in the area. Each regular season event of only 75 teams or more will vie for a guaranteed first place prize of $10,000 cash at EACH event!  Each region will also have its own “close to home” big money region championship where a full field equals a $15,000 cash top prize! Pair that with the Cabela’s North American Bass Circuit’s reputation for first rate, competitive bass fishing events and the 2014 season promises to be the best yet.  Here’s the lineup of NABC tournaments for both Regions:

Southeast Region

Feb. 16 Lake Hartwell, Anderson, SC

August 22-23 Lake Vermillion (2 day bonus event) Tower, MN 
October 4-5 North Region Championship, Mississippi River, Lacrosse, WI

Early bird registration opens for premier teams only on January 6, 2014 for all NABC events. Regular registration for all Non-premier teams opens on January 20. Do not delay! Sign up as a Premier Team as soon as registration opens January 6. All events are limited and no more than 90 teams will be accepted into any NABC event in 2014.  Click the Premier Team link on the website to find out how to become a NABC premier team and for full details. 

Teams are required to fish a minimum of two qualifying tournaments to earn points toward coveted berths in the Region Championships or three events for the Team of the Year races. Full details on locations, rules and more will be posted to the website before January 6, 2014.

Cabela’s, the World’s Foremost Outfitter for hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, is in its fourth season as title sponsor of the NABC. Other sponsors include: Ranger Boats, Stratos Boats, Mercury Marine, MotorGuide, Optima Batteries, O2 Marine Technologies and Sea Grant.

Based in Ponca City, Oklahoma, the Cabela’s North American Bass Circuit is open to alltwo-person teams regardless of club or sponsor affiliation. Entry fees are $500 per regular season tournament and $600 for the two-day region championships. In total, the NABC Circuit offered more than 100 percent payback to its anglers in 2013 and will do so again in 2014. In addition, a small donation is included in each entry fee and matched by the Cabela’s NABC and other conservation organizations up to 3-to-1 in support of bass conservation projects anywhere the NABC Circuit does business.
