RACINE, Wis., July 17, 2020 – Humminbird® has earned top honors yet again at the fishing industry’s most prestigious trade show, the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades (ICAST). The all-new CoastMaster™ chart was voted “Best of Electronics” by voting media members and buyers during the American Sportfishing Association’s 2020 Virtual ICAST and New Product Showcase.
Building off a pedigree of industry-leading innovations, resulting in nine ICAST “Best of Electronics” awards in the last ten years, Humminbird now puts cutting-edge charts with One-Boat Network™ integration in the hands of demanding coastal anglers and boaters.

With complete coverage for all East, West and Gulf coast waters on a single card, the new CoastMaster offering includes the most up-to-date information for anglers to locate key fish-holding areas by providing accurate spot soundings, depth contours, points of interest, and navigational aids to ensure safe navigation. Anglers will also be able to monitor fishing conditions with a predictive tides and currents tool that offers details about the speed and direction of currents and the direction and height of tides precisely for the vessel’s location. Additionally, multiple depth highlight ranges enable captains to clearly identify productive depth ranges or shallow hazard areas, and a water level offset feature allows for the adjustment of depth contours and shorelines to match current water levels.
Designed with ease-of-use in mind, anglers can easily adjust the CoastMaster chart to match their situational needs by selecting from the customizable view presets: Navigation view, Fishing view, and a user-defined preset. With a vast offering of fishing and navigational data, the intuitive preset views make it easy to display the most important information.
CoastMaster also features VX technology, with fast loading, panning and zooming of charts, ensuring the chart will keep up with an angler’s every move. VX technology also delivers five color palette options to suit any angler’s preference.
