Well, we have finally arrived at The PMTT Recon Boats World Championship on the Legendary Lake of the Woods in Minnesota. The nation’s top 50 musky teams have been waiting all year for a chance to fish these famed big fish waters for a shot at the Grand Prize, a Recon Boat, Trailer and Mercury Motor package valued at over $55,000 and LOTW did not disappoint. With 20 teams alone qualifying already on Day 1. The Recon Boats Championship is a 3-Day Tournament, with Days 1 and 2 requiring a team to catch a legal fish in order to compete on Day 3 for the Grand Prize Recon Boat Package. The field caught 35 muskies today with the Team of Jarod Donar & Peter Blicharz currently sitting in 1st Place with 4 fish a 47.5, 46.75, 45.5 & 41.5. The team of Mark Lijewski & Ryan Wallis won the Day 1 Recon Boats 1st Fish on the Board Bonus with a 40” for an additional $500 Bonus from Recon Boats.
