September 12th, 2014 Cass Lake, MN-The Masters Walleye Circuit (MWC) headed to Cass Lake, MN for the second to last stop of the regular season. Day 1 of the event was accompanied with low 50 degree temperatures, rain and sleet but that didn’t stop the Future Angler Event to be held following the weigh-in.

Seven brave Future Pro Anglers battled the rain and the wind learning about Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS), on the water safety, different species of fish and each angler stated what they loved most about fishing. Following the educational lesson, each angler was given a rod and reel combo and a Future Pro t-shirt courtesy of the National Professional Anglers Association (NPAA) Future Anglers Foundation (FAF).

The future anglers were also taught proper casting techniques while they aimed for the backyard bass that were spread across the water covered pavement.

NPAA members that helped with event were: Spencer Deutz #552, Zach Axtman #512, Chad Maloy #499 and Paul Steffen #848.
