Cody Northrop With The Win at The NWT on Lake Sakakawea

After the high winds brutalized anglers all week during the pre-fish on Lake Sakakawea, Cody Northrop was able to take the win at the National Walleye Tours 3rd stop of the season. Anglers spoke of walleyes slowly transitioning from summer to fall, with the fish moving more than usual even for reservoir fish. Many fish were taken casting, while some did fall to trolling live bait. Cody was able to find baitfish stacked by the wind on day 2 to put away the win. Jigging Rapalas were his lure of choice (see video interview below) . Thank you to the people of Garrison who always roll out the red carpet for us when we show up.
