NORTHLAND® renewing 2008 contract with NPAA

VALLEY CITY, ND, March 26, 2008: The National Professional Anglers Association (NPAA), a non-profit organization focused on growing the sport of fishing and increasing the professionalism of its members, is proud to announce that Northland® Fishing Tackle, Inc. a charter supporting member of the NPAA is renewing its contract with the NPAA for 2008.
Northland® Fishing Tackle, Inc. under the ownership of John and Duane Peterson in Bemidji, Minnesota was among the first if not the first company to sign on as a supporting member with the inception of the NPAA. Throughout difficult and trying times in the fishing industry and the NPAA, Northland® has remained a staunch supporter of the NPAA and an outstanding supporter of competitive angling and competitive anglers in general.
It has been fun to see Northland® grow and continue to develop innovative fish catching products year after year. New for 2008 is over 500 new SKU's! This year's innovations in the walleye market include the new ROCK'N RAINBOW SPINNER with it's unique "Rock'r Blade" that vibrates, flashes and shakes crawlers, minnows and leeches from side to side with an erratic dying baitfish action that fish cannot resist!
Northland® has also ventured into the highly competitive bass market having teamed up with legendary BASS Elite Series angler Dean Rojas. Utilizing Dean's expertise in the bass fishing market, Northland® is introducing a new line of baits called SLURPIES SOFT PLASTICS "Dean Rojas" Signature Series that fish love to SLURP up!
Current NPAA members have already received their membership packets that contain among others a Northland® catalog and order form. In line with its outstanding support of NPAA members, Northland® will be offering to members only, 30% off the MSRP (catalog price). Here will be NPAA member's opportunity to be the first to use not only the newly developed products mentioned above, but many of your old favorites.
