Houghton Lake is Second Stop for WWA Michigan Team Challenge

Fond Du Lac, WI – ­ The second stop for the WWA anglers in the Michigan Team Challenge will be Houghton Lake Saturday May 14th.The winners of the first WWA Michigan Team Challenge event which was held on the Detroit River were Chad Fett and Josh Newmyer.The sign in and rules meeting will be Friday, May 13th at the Houghton Lake DNR South Launch at Houghton Lake.Sign in will be from 6:00-7:00 P.M. with the mandatory rules meeting at 7:00 P.M. One member from each team must attend the rules meeting.The Official weigh in site is the DNR Houghton Lake South Launch.Tournament hours are from 7:00 A.M. ­ 3:00 P.M.Boundaries will be Wisconsin waters of Green Bay to the tip of Door County. In the event of inclement weather boundaries may restrict anglers to the lower bay and the river.The weigh in limit is four fish over 15 inches.The WWA is a friendly, fun, and affordable way to participate in the competitive world of walleye fishing.
