Jackson, Wis. – Technology reigns in the fishing industry. No doubt, advancements in gear, especially artificial offerings, have changed the way we fish. But like the prophetic title of SEOPA member L. Woodrow Ross’ article, “Love it or Hate it, Live Bait is usually the Ticket to Success,” it’s tough to beat the real thing.

Frabill, the world’s largest producer of live bait containers and aeration products, sincerely thanks all SEOPA members who submitted works to our “Go Live!” contest. And after much deliberating, soul searching, head-scratching, beard-stroking, and consulting with palm readers, the top three articles and their respective authors were selected:

First Prize ($1,000): L. Woodrow Ross for “Love it or Hate it, Live Bait is Usually the Ticket to Success,” which appeared in the Anderson, South Carolina Independent.

Second Prize ($250): Ed Mashburn for “Nothing Beats the Real Thing” (Great Days Outdoors)
Third Prize (Frabill Product Assortment): S. Kirkland for “When it Comes to Skinny Water” (Lynn Haven Ledger – Lynn, FL)

Note: All SEOPA members are eligible for bottom-basement media pricing on Frabill’s entire product assortment, including FXE Stormsuit, which earned Best New Apparel at ICAST. Drop us a note if you’d like to order any gear.
