Plymouth, WI – May 26, 2010:

The recent AIM Pro Walleye Series™ tournament in Bay City, Michigan included the drama of a record daily bag on the second day of the event by AIM Pro Angler Jarrad Fluekiger. The Alma, Wisconsin Pro brought in a seven fish limit of 48.47 pounds using the AIM Catch-Record-Release™ format. This limit included the largest walleye caught during the event – a 30.25″ monster taken in the Saginaw River.

AIM Catch-Record-Release™ (CRR™) is requires that the anglers take digital photos of the walleyes on standardized Judge Tournament Rulers. The lengths of each walleye are recorded on the Official Scorecard, and certified by the Pro Angler and his Co Angler partner. These digital photos are then examined by the AIM staff and the lengths confirmed, after which the length of each walleye is converted to weight using a formula developed by conservation agencies. Based on the AIM conversion formula, Jarrad’s 30.25″ walleye was scored at 11.63 pounds.

As the Pro Angler who caught the largest single walleye, Jarrad earned a certificate for a unique photo replica mount from the AIM Marketing Partner, Me and My Catch. This award is valued at $500.00. The certificate will allow Jarrad to have a replica made of his catch. Me and My Catch uses digital photos to produce a unique replica that raises the walleye (or any species) above the photo surface for an impressive “mount”. Like the AIM CRR process, the actual fish is not required. The trophy walleye caught by Jarrad was released exactly where it was caught within seconds, but the memory will be preserved using digital photo technology.
