Annual Freeze Your Butt Walleye Tournament
Well the 2020 FYB Tournament is in the books. Thanks to all the participants who fished, Everts Resort for hosting and The Bluffs bar for registration facilities and awards, and all the volunteers it takes to make one of these happen. The weather yesterday was beautiful and the river was full of fisherman. I saw some beautiful fish brought to the scales yesterday with some absolute monsters that were successfully released back to the water. We had made a few slight changes to the tournament and we would love to hear some feedback in the comments about what you liked and disliked. Once again thank you all who participated and volunteered your help. Also a shout out to the fine businesses that donated door prizes. Frigo Chiropractic, ( Jeremy Frigo).. Prescott Baits (Tim Matthisen) .. Tru-Tied Tackle (Jeff Trumar).. Bfishin Tackle (Ryan T King). And last but not least Garen Vickney , the tournament director who steered the whole ship, thanks for taking on the role. Hope to see you all next year and don’t forget to tell a friend or 2 about this event. Congrats to team Mc Kinzie/Bailey on 1st place with 16.46 pounds and also getting gig fish award with a 11.02 river beauty!! Here are the top 5 place finishers and congratulations!!
