Recreational salmon fishing off Washington’s coast begins June 22, according to the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
All four marine areas will be open daily to fishing for Chinook and coho salmon.
The coho quote increased for 2019, up to 159,000 fish from 117,600 last year. The Chinook catch quote decreased by 1,250 to 26,250.
