Boarding two open net pen fish farms near Tofino, BC with underwater cameras, a group of Tla-o-qui-aht citizens captured evidence of farmed salmon with deformities and disease, as well as wild herring and salmon smolts trapped inside the pens. The horrific images spurred hundreds of First Nations and allies on June 24 to join a flotilla calling for the removal of filthy factory fish farms from this ecologically precious biosphere.
