Lady of the Lake Tournament Results

Lake Geneva – Oct 17, 2020

The inaugural Lady of the Lake (LOTL) tournament on Lake Geneva took place on Saturday, October 17th, and it was a huge success. Despite the challenging weather, wind gusts over 45 mph, we had 29 boats participate. We were able to raise over $2,700 for the Dean Rosset Stocking Program. These funds will be used to stock Leech Lake Strain muskies in Lake Geneva in the fall of 2021.

A huge thank you to Jim Cejna and Tom Flannery for organizing and running this event. Great job guys!

There was only one muskie boated, but it truly was the Lady of the Lake, a 45.5″ beauty caught by the team of Robert and Brian Porter. A random drawing decided the remaining 4 payouts.

Looking Ahead
Given the success of this year’s tournament, despite it being the first year, the challenging weather and COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited about continuing to grow the LOTL tournament and we are already planning for next year. Our goal is to have this event be the major funding source for the stocking of Lake Geneva for many years to come.
