Hey friends in the Wausau area. It’s time for spring cleaning. This year marks the 20th year of the Wisconsin River Clean Up (Friday May 10th). It is a huge volunteer effort that involves nine area schools, area businesses and local government agencies. We need your help! Boats are necessary to help clean the waterfront. Meet us at D.C. Everest Boat Landing (3rd Ave, Wausau) at 9 a.m. If you have carpet on your boat floor, bring a tarp to cover it since we will be hauling garbage and refuse (plastic bags provided). Your efforts and those of countless others will help to preserve the beautiful river valley we all enjoy. Count on working till noon; message me if you plan to attend.
