Bass Pro Shops stores to host free event and sale dedicated to crappie fishermen
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Bass Pro Shops first ever Crappie Madness Event and Sale, held Jan. 30-31 and Feb. 6-7, provides the perfect way to get ready to catch the ever-popular speckled perch. The event features free crappie fishing seminars, activities for the kids, and fried fish sampling at participating Bass Pro Shops stores across the U.S. Sales, giveaways, and a chance to win a 2015 Tracker Pro Team 175 TF round out this great event.
Bass Pro Shops first ever Crappie Madness Event and Sale, held Jan. 30-31 and Feb. 6-7, features free crappie fishing seminars, activities for the kids, fried fish sampling and more at participating Bass Pro Shops stores across the U.S. and Canada.Attendees can expect to learn tips and techniques of the various styles of crappie fishing from local and top professionals at free seminars held on the following dates and times:
* Fridays (Jan. 30 and Feb. 6) at 7 p.m.
* Saturdays (Jan. 31 and Feb. 7) at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The first 25 people to attend seminars at the advertised times will receive a free stainless steel mug.
Plus, seminar attendees who are 21 years of age or older can enter for a chance to win a 2015 Tracker Pro Team 175 TF valued at more than $17,200. The Pro Team 175TF is packed with features that make it ideal for catching crappie and nearly anything else that swims.
Crappie Madness Event and Sale also features the following:
* Participants can look like a pro with a free photo download that places them on a mock magazine cover.
* Kids can learn to cast and then test their skills at Bass Pro Shops Casting Challenge, held Saturday, Jan. 31 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
* Free fried fish sampling is available on Saturday, Jan. 31 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
