Fish seemed to bite early, and dropped off for many teams as the wind calmed. Jerkbaits seemed to be the ticket, although jigs/tubes were also discussed. Most anglers very tight-lipped heading into day 2, with most being confident that the rain/wind/cold on day 2 won’t ruin the bite and may actually increase it.
