How do the Zoneloc pros stay fueled up when they are on the road chasing bass for a living? Of course they use gasoline to power their boats and trucks, but more importantly, what type of fuel do they fill their bellies with? Will they share the important nutritional insight that will help all of us become better anglers when we tie on our Zoneloc hooks? Of course they will. These thoughtful pros decided to share their favorite eats when they’re on the road.

“My go-to meal on the road is Chipotle,” said Jones Jr. “It’s always consistently good across the country. Whenever it’s available, that’s where I go!”

“I always look for a good Japanese steakhouse,” said Jones. “I treat myself to a great meal at least once at each tournament.

“On the water, though, it’s sliced summer sausage with jalapeno cheese on crackers. Never leave the dock without it.

“It’s high in protein and easy to eat while on a 70-mph run to my next fishing spot.”

Jay Yelas

“My favorite food is Ben and Jerry’s ice cream,” said Yelas. “After a long day on the water, or even occasionally on the water during practice.

“It can be a great midday snack!”
