Waller Wins Bass Fishing League Cowboy Division on Sam Rayburn Reservoir

WHAT:              David Waller of Fort Worth, Texas, caught a 5-bass limit weighing 18 pounds, 12 ounces Saturday, April 24, 2010 to win $3,926 in the FLW BFL Cowboy Division tournament on Sam Rayburn Reservoir. He was throwing green pumpkin fluke type baits to catch his limit.

WHAT:              William Dowden of Leesville, La., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 7 ounces Saturday, April 24, 2010 to win $1,963 in the FLW BFL Cowboy Co-angler Division on Sam Rayburn Reservoir. He was using watermelon colored Magnum Lizards to bag his limit.

NOTES:            The next BFL Cowboy Division tournament is scheduled for May 15, at the Red River in Natchitoches, La. After the fifth Cowboy Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Lake Texoma in Denison, Texas, on Oct. 14-16, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
