Bassmaster Elite Series pro John Crews has joined the pro staff of Vicious Vision Premium Polarized Eyewear. Crews finished the 2013 season ranked seventh in the Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year race and is set to fish his first Toyota All-Star Week tournament in late September before going on to compete in his eighth Bassmaster Classic on Guntersville in February 2014.

John has been competing as a pro on the Bassmaster Tournament Trail since 2000. During that time, he has had 17 Top 10 finishes and one Bassmaster Elite Series win. Crews is also the owner of Missile Baits, a board member for Tackle the Storm Foundation and a board member of the Professional Anglers Association (PAA).

“I have used a number of different sunglasses, including all the most popular brands,” said Crews. “Once I was able to wear the Vicious Pro Series with Xperio UV lenses, I could see a big difference. They were crystal clear, and glare was drastically reduced. It seems like I can also see so much more under water with them. These glasses are the optical advantage I have been looking for.”

“John is an accomplished and respected tour angler, which we love, but he also comes to us with a strong background of moving this industry forward through his work with the PAA and Tackle the Storm,” said Dr. Doug Jordan, owner of Vicious Vision. “Guys like him will be great brand and product ambassadors for years to come.”
