Stren Series Central Division Event Moved to Kentucky Lake from Mississipppi River

HARDIN, Ky. (June 23, 2008) – The Stren Series™ Central Division bass tournament scheduled to be held in Fort Madison, Iowa, July 23-26 has been moved to Kentucky Lake in Hardin, Ky., due to severe flooding along the Mississippi River. The dates of the tournament remain unchanged.

Anglers will take off from Kenlake State Resort Park, located at 542 Kenlake Road in Hardin, Ky., at 5:30 each morning and weigh-ins will be held at the marina beginning at 2 p.m. July 23-25. The final July 26 weigh-in will be held at the Wal-Mart store located at 809 N. 12th Street in Murray, Ky., beginning at 3 p.m. The full field will compete Thursday and Friday and then be cut to the top 10 pros and co-anglers for Saturday. Winners will be determined Saturday by the heaviest accumulated weight from all three days of competition.

“Our prayers go out to the people of Fort Madison and other areas affected by the floods,” said FLW Outdoors president and CEO Charlie Evans.
