Adding to the excitement at the Bassmaster ‘Angler of the Year’ Championship on Minnesota’s Lake Mille Lacs, the Shimano booth will host three fishing seminars during ‘Bassmaster University’ activities this Saturday, Sept. 17.

Taking place within the B.A.S.S. Expo area at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs in Onamia, Minn., Shimano ‘Elite’ pros Jared Lintner, Keith Combs and James Elam will all be in the Shimano booth offering fishing advice. Lintner – known for his power fishing expertise – kicks off the seminar schedule at noon with a focus on fall fishing tips. Cranking specialist Combs is next at 1pm with his ‘Crankbait Secrets and Set-Ups’ seminar, followed by Oklahoma pro Elam offering his insight on power fishing shallow water at 2pm.

Along with Elite pros seminars, the Shimano Experience Team (S.E.T.) will be displaying just released new tackle, including the Stradic CI4+ and NASCI spinning reels, and the new Metanium MGL baitcasting reels. Those attending will have the opportunity to ‘test cast’ a long list of Shimano reels matched on both Shimano and G. Loomis rods. The S.E.T crew will also be displaying and talking Shimano tackle during the tournament weigh-ins – also taking place at the Grand Casino – on Thursday, Friday and Sunday afternoons.
