Ott’s Hot for All-Star Week

The 2011 Bassmaster All-Star Week champ Ott DeFoe is ready to rock Lakes Shelbyville and Decatur in Illinois for the 2012 All-Star Week.

“I’m excited about the fisheries,” said DeFoe. “I’ve heard they’re not the most stellar lakes, like a Guntersville, but I am looking forward to it anyway.

“I love fishing in the fall, and it’s kind of getting close to the fall. Plus, the lakes are shallow and not crystal clear so they should fish to my strengths.”

DeFoe said the competitors will have a full day to practice on Lake Shelbyville on Tuesday September 18 and then a day of practice on Decatur where they’ll need to be off the water by 2:00 PM.
