MLF Names Jeff Clachko to Executive Role with Burgeoning League

Major League Fishing® (MLF), the premier professional bass fishing league with a player roster consisting of the sport’s top and best-known anglers, has named Jeff Clachko, Senior Vice President, Sponsorship and Media Sales. The announcement was made today by Major League Fishing President and CEO, Jim Wilburn.

Former NBC Sports executive, Jeff Clachko, joins Major League Fishing as Senior Vice President, Sponsorship and Media Sales for the fast-growing league.

Clachko joins MLF from NBC Sports where he served as Sr. Vice President, Advertising Sales for the portfolio’s sports properties. In this role, he was responsible for linear and digital ad sales for Sunday Night Football, NASCAR, NHL, EPL and Horse Racing. He worked closely with production to help create custom content and marketing solutions that helped his clients achieve their marketing objectives.

“Major League Fishing has taken professional bass fishing by storm with their newly launched Bass Pro Tour,” Clachko said. “MLF’s ability to integrate sponsors into league IP, MLF Now! digital live
stream, and linear tv, has me super excited. I look forward to joining their amazing sales and marketing team and helping them expand their client base in this rapidly growing sport.”

Clachko is a graduate of Colgate University with a bachelor’s degree in History. He resides in Westport, Conn. with his wife Betsy, and their three children.
