March 1, 2011-MINNETONKA, MN-Competitive bass fans planning to fish all three of the Masters Bass Circuit’s team tournaments in 2011 have until noon on Tuesday, March 15th to cash in on special perks through the MBC Premier Program.

These “earlybird” entries enjoy convenient installment billing options and priority entry, plus a shot at $2,000 in Team of the Year cash and a free berth in the prestigious 2011 World Bass Championship.

The MBC’s three 2011 qualifying tournaments are slated for a trio of North America’s finest bass waters: Wisconsin’s mighty Lake Winnebago Chain; the smallmouth-rich depths of Lake Michigan’s Bays de Noc; and Minnesota’s legendary Lake Minnetonka.

Teams may register by mail, fax, or online. Full details and printable registration forms are available at mastersbasscircuit.com. Or call toll-free (877) 893-7947 or email [email protected] for more information.

Single-tournament entries-which cost $400 per event-are accepted until midnight (CST) on Sunday the week of the each event, although anglers are encouraged to register early to avoid being locked out of a full tournament. (Field size is limited to 50 boats.) Also, a $50 late fee kicks in at midnight (CST) on Sunday three weeks prior to the tournament.

First place at MBC qualifying tournaments pays $10,000 (based on full field), and sponsor contingencies from Cabela’s, Ranger Boats and Stratos Boats add thousands more at each event. Plus, the top 10 point-accumulating teams at each qualifier will be invited to the 2011 MBC World Bass Championship, scheduled for Sept. 24-25 on Leech Lake, Minnesota. The Championship carries a $20,000 first-place paycheck, ultimate bragging rights in team bass fishing, and a wealth of media opportunities through the MBC’s parent company, North American Membership Group-which includes North American Fisherman magazine, the world’s largest multispecies fishing publication.
