MINNETONKA, MN-Competitive bass anglers have an exciting new venue in 2011 with hefty payouts and world-class fishing. North American Membership Group, parent company of the North American Fishing Club, is launching the Masters Bass Circuit.

Following the successful model of the company’s Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit, which is now entering its 27th season, the bass circuit will follow a two-person, team format, giving anglers an affordable way to fish for high stakes and enjoy intense competition in a professionally run format.

“We are planning four tournaments in 2011,” said Executive Director Dan Johnson, who oversees the bass and walleye circuits. “We have three one-day qualifiers, each with a 50-boat limit and $10,000 first-place prize, and a two-day, 31-boat championship with a $20,000 first-place payout. And with sponsor contingencies like Stratos 2X ‘Double Your Winnings’ and Ranger Cup, our payouts increase by more than $50,000.”

And, like the time-tested MWC platform, the new bass circuit offers anglers and sponsors an impressive yet extremely cost-effective venue to showcase their fishing talents and build their brands. For starters, an MBC Update-with results, photos and sponsor recognition-will appear in industry-leading North American Fisherman magazine, which boasts 500,000 member-subscribers and a total readership of 3.4 million per issue. Plus, the MBC staff will work closely with the editorial department to highlight MBC anglers and sponsor products in feature articles and other print and online copy.

The MBC will also deliver a package of geo-targeted “Fishin’ Informer” e-newsletters, each of which reaches an average of 150,000 opt-in subscribers, along with a dedicated interactive website and aggressive social media presence.
