Gamakatsu® Superline Swimbait Heads
Tacoma, Washington (April 28, 2020) Now you can rig swimbaits on a jig head built with Gamakatsu’s superior hooks. The Superline Swimbait Head is compatible with all internal and external rigging methods, giving you the advanced hooking power and retention of Gamakatsu’s hooks however your favorite swimbait is configured. The streamlined head offers a natural swimming action that is sure to entice predators, and the life-like eye supercharges their instincts to ensure a strike.
Gamakatsu Superline Swimbait Heads are built on a Superline hook with a 60-degree bend that keeps baits running true no matter what presentation you’re employing. The angled shank also sheds weeds as it slices through the water column, so you won’t have to worry about a fouled bait at the moment of truth. The heavy wire stands up the hardest hook sets and biggest predators, so feel free to run your heaviest braid.
The heads are available in a variety of weights from 1/8 to 1/2 ounce on 4/0 or 5/0 hooks. A wire bait screw ensures your bait won’t come loose, even during the most frantic figure-8s. Choose from heads painted with a pearl white finish or an unpainted version that allows DIY anglers to customize the head to suit their unique conditions.
