2015 Bassmaster Classic Champ, Casey Ashley, Bill Lowen, Jacob Powroznik and Albert Collins, will all be using HI-SEAS fishing lines to fish in Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees in Tulsa, Oklahoma to earn the coveted winning title. Last year, Ashley won using HI-SEAS 100% Flourocarbon line in spite of the extreme cold temperatures on Lake Hartwell in South Carolina, “I caught every fish I weighed in the classic on 10lb Fluorocarbon line. I was actually a little worried when the guides on my rod were freezing every 45 seconds or so that the ice would fray my line, but it did not. HI-SEAS line still impresses me with its strength. Now for sure, there is no doubt in my mind HI-SEAS line can withstand any condition it’s faced with.”  This year, Ashley’s tactic is to rely of the durability of HI-SEAS lines for a repeat win, “I’ll be using 100% fluorocarbon 20lb and 10lb. I’m hoping there will be a jig bite which I plan to throw on 20lb line. I’ll also be throwing a jerkbait and crankbait which I’ll throw on 10lb line. I wouldn’t even think of throwing anything other than Hi-Seas, it’s the best there is.”

Bill Lowen is relying on the durability, “I want a Fluorocarbon that is easy handling, has maximum sensitivity and is abrasion resistant. That’s why I’ll be using HI-SEAS Fluorocarbon during the Classic. I’ll be using 12,15 and 20lb Fluorocarbon.”

Jacob Powroznik also feels the same, “This week at the Classic I will be fishing 10lb-20lb 100% HI-SEAS Fluorocarbon. It’s tough as nails and I know it won’t fail me.”

Albert Collins just joined the HI-SEAS Pro Staff roster for 2016, “I am excited to be a part of the HI-SEAS Pro-staff. I am looking forward to working with and promoting HI-SEAS. I have been fishing with the Fluorocarbon Line and am 100% satisfied with it’s performance. That being said,  the Fluorocarbon Line will be my choice at the Bassmaster Classic.”

Ashley is the second HI-SEAS Pro to hold the title of Bassmaster Classic Champion within the last 4 years, along with Cliff Pace who won the trophy in 2013 using HI-SEAS 100% Fluorocarbon line.  These two champions truly exemplify the brand’s slogan, “When the money’s on the line.”
