ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGIATE ANGLERS FALL TOURNAMENT ROUND-UP
Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley September 19-20, 2020: Kentucky Lake – Paris, TN
To kick off the 2020-21 season, the Association of Collegiate Anglers visited Henry Country & Paris, TN for the Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley on Kentucky Lake. When the scales closed on the final day of competition, Dalton Kelly from Murray State University topped the elite field of 300 anglers with a big bass weighing 5.53 pounds. Kelly’s winnings consisted of over $6,000 in prizes & contingencies, as well 1,000 points for Murray State in the race for Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.

AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open October 10-11, 2020: Lake Dardanelle – Russellville, AR
The 2020 AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open on Lake Dardanelle in Russellville, AR boasted an elite field of 150 college fishing teams competing on the storied Arkansas River fishery for two days. Cole Breeden & Cameron Smith from Drury University took home the win with a two-day total of 26.52 pounds. In return for their great performance on the water, Breeden & Smith earned 1,000 School of the Year points for Drury University, as well as received $5,000 in cash and prizes.

Final Standings for the 2020 AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open
The chase for 2020-2021 Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia is a hotly contested race as the first half of the season draws to an end. Following two double points opportunities at ACA ran events in the last month, the leaderboard has seen a lot of moving and shaking as teams jockey for position to be ranked inside of the prestigious Top 25.
