Kissimmee Florida- Brian Snowden makes the jump from his 3rd place standing on day two and clinces the victory on the final day of the first ever Carrot Stix PAA Series, presented by Phoenix Boats. “I started fishing reeds and pads with a worm during practice”, said Brian. But the pattern wasn’t paying off. Brian explaned, “My friend Matt Reed gave me a little advice, and I moved out”. The adjustment was what it took to unseat the day 2 leader, Shaw Grigsby, who weighed in one fish over 13 pounds on his 1st day of competition.

Snowden fished in close proximity to his friend, Matt Reed, but said, “I was just fortunate enough to get the bigger bites”.

Brian fished a XR-75 Rattle Bait in “Foxy Shad” color, targeting open water grass in 6.5 to 7 feet of water. He threw the big bait on a St Croix 7′ med-hvy Legend rod, using 17pound XPS flurocarbon line and a Johnny Morris Signature reel.

Following Briad Snowden in the line up was Steve Kennedy and Todd Faircloth.

This marked the very first event for the Pro-angler owned and Pro-angler operated Carrot Stix PAA tournament series presented by Phoenix Boats.
