American Bass Anglers (ABA) announced today that Berkley has signed a multiyear sponsorship agreement with American Bass Anglers. Berkley manufactures and sells the most well known products in the fishing industry. A true American success story, Berkley began its journey in 1937 in the small town of Spirit Lake in northwest Iowa. Decades later Berkley is a world leading tackle supplier and well known for its brands such as its Berkley Trilene, PowerBait, Gulp, Havoc, Lightning Rod and many others.

“We are proud to work with such a premium brand as Berkley. Our members and weekend anglers worldwide rely on Berkley brand products every day. From line and lures, to rods and the specialized tools and equipment they make so many of the products that anglers must have in order to be successful fishing and winning bass tournaments. Berkley has long been a great supporter of the Weekend Bass Angler and we are excited to have their support,” said Morris Sheehan, President of American Bass Anglers, Inc.

As part of this sponsorship Berkley brands will be integrated into the sponsorship platforms and footprint at Weekend Bass Series events, American Fishing Tour Championship, 100% Plus Team Trail events, American Couples Series Championship and Military Team Event.

We are incredibly excited to be working with the ABA in 2015 and beyond, stated Chris Hockley, Berkley Brand Marketing Manager.  Our partnership with the largest grassroots bass fishing series in North America will ensure that we are able to meet more passionate anglers face to face than we have ever been able to in the past.
