Bass Pro Bill Lowen joins Fish-D-Funk team

Bassmaster Elite Series angler Bill Lowen has joined the Fish-D-Funk team. “Bill brings a wealth of fishing and hunting experience to the company and our products.” stated Emma Phillips, Sr. R&D Engineer. “We are very much looking forward to Bill’s involvement withour product line and the development of new D-Funk products for the fishing and outdoor industries.”
“I first met the Contec team at the ATA Show in 2013. I was impressed with how they took their proven, professional expertise and experience and developed products for the outdoors. Along with Emma, we recently did live demos at the ICAST show in Orlando with their D-Funk products and people were absolutely blown away by how well D-Funk products remove all smells. The products work on coolers, boats, hands and even on dogs,” said Lowen.
Lowen saw immediate applications for D-Funk products in his boat. “There are so many things that can happen on the water beyond my control, so I manage all the variables I can. Unwanted scents like gasoline, oil, sun block and bug spray have no business on my fishing lures. Scent management is a big deal in hunting and an overlooked area in fishing. Believe me it helps me catch more fish.”
Bill Lowen has fished the Bassmaster Elite Series for nine years, qualifying for the Bassmaster Classic seven times. He has twice finished runner-up in the Elite Series and has notched thirteen top ten B.A.S.S. finishes.
