The 2016 pro tournament season flew by this year. Some great twists and turns happened along the way. Here’s a look at just a few of BassFIRST’s favorite images from the early part of the season.

Former Bassmaster Angler of the Year Brent Chapman started his Bassmaster Elite Series season with a fatty on the St. Johns River in Florida.
Greg Hackney displaying his famous “Hackney Hunch” when he is loading fish into the weigh-in bag. This hunch happened at the Elite Series on the St. Johns River in Florida.
Tracy Adams focused at the FLW Tour event on Beaver Lake in Arkansas.
Winyah Bay in South Carolina produced this beauty for Tim Horton. This was the second event of the Elite Series season in 2016.
Rick Clunn earned the win at the St. Johns River Bassmaster Elite Series. His son River takes it all in.
