Ashland City, Tennessee – For years, active families seeking an ideal boat for both fishing and water skiing have been forced to compromise for a boat that really didn’t handle either assignment sufficiently well. That’s because typical “fish and ski” boats either lack the deck space and tackle storage that serious anglers demand, or come up short in interior room, creature comforts and safety features required for carefree family outings. But now Triton redefines the traditional fish and ski with its exciting new 206 Allure. It’s the only boat on the market that truly combines the best features of a professional tournament fishing boat and a high-performance ski boat into one beautiful package.

The new 206 Allure is 20 feet, 6 inches long with a super-wide 100-inch beam. It delivers awesome performance with outboards ranging from 175 through 250 hp and has a fuel capacity of 57 gallons. With its persons capacity of 990 pounds and a maximum weight capacity of 1810 pounds, it will easily accommodate an entire family and all of their gear.

“We based our new 206 Allure on Triton’s 206 Fishunter multi-species fishing boat, which has been garnering rave revues from walleye tournament anglers since its recent introduction,” said Triton president Earl Bentz. “Because the 206 hull is designed to deliver an incredibly soft, dry ride in the big, rough lakes where trophy walleye lurk, without sacrificing acceleration, top speed and handling capabilities, we knew it would make the perfect platform for a full-sized dual purpose boat as well. Its generous length, beam and molded depth allowed us to incorporate a host of pro fishing features into the boat while still providing ample seating space and elbow room for the entire family. The 206 Allure is the first fish and ski that delivers truly the best of both worlds, without compromise.”

The 206 Allure comes loaded to the gills with pro fishing features, including an oversized front casting deck that’s slightly recessed for added security when casting in heavy seas. A massive center rod storage box houses a tournament angler’s entire arsenal of rods, and additional dry storage boxes, all with lockable lids, can swallow a warehouse full of tackle and gear. A MinnKota Terrova 24-volt/80 lb. thrust foot control trolling motor comes standard, as does 6 gauge trolling motor wiring for maximum thrust. The boat sports twin fiberglass consoles crowned with a tempered glass walk-through windshield; this configuration allows both fishing partners blessed relief from the elements when making high-speed runs across the lake on cold, rainy days. The passenger console also has a roomy glove box. The rear deck houses a 30-gallon insulated divided livewell with aerator and recirculator pumps; a high-speed pumpout lets you bag your catch quickly at weigh-in.

A handy rear baitwell with minnow bucket keeps live bait frisky all day long. The driver’s console features full instrumentation and a flush-mounted Lowrance Mark 5X graph; there’s also ample room at the console to mount additional electronics if desired. Premium rotary marine switches with circuit breakers control all plumbing functions. Driver and passenger sit on sliding folding seats with built-in shock absorption. A handy floor hatch opens to reveal batteries plus a standard three-bank onboard charger.

The 206 Allure’s abundant interior room allows ample seating, guaranteeing a more comfortable and pleasurable family outing when skiing, wakeboarding or cruising the lake. Two swivel pedestal seats are located behind the driver and front passenger seats, and there are even two flip-up jump seats on the rear deck! Most seats have mesh nets on the back to corral sunscreen, cell phones and other necessities. The boat also features a built-in cooler, nonskid cockpit floor with padding for added comfort, stainless steel steering wheel and drink holders, two 12-volt accessory receptacles, stainless steel grab rails and an aluminum jack plate for maximum performance. A folding stainless steel boarding ladder comes standard, and a ski tow bar and standup canvas top are available as options.

Triton’s 206 Allure features hand-laid composite construction and carries a limited lifetime hull warranty plus a three-year warranty on most factory-installed components.
