The Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act of 2015 continues to move through Congress, and the next stop is the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. The committee will likely vote on this important bill next week, and they need to hear directly from you how vital the various provisions are.

If the bill is passed, there will be significant long-term benefits for recreational fishing access and fisheries conservation:

– Protections that ensure traditional fishing tackle won’t be banned from the marketplace.

– Dedicating resources specifically for fish habitat restoration.

– Renewing the commitment of the most successful wetlands habitat restoration program in America.

Your U.S. Senator will be casting a key vote to decide whether or not the Sportsmen’s Act will move forward and support your opportunities for recreational fishing. Please take a moment to ask for his or her support.
