Ok, yesterday’s word was “Wow”, today’s word is “Insane”. That’s how the musky fishing has been here in Iowa at the PMTT Thorne Bros Late Summer Showdown in Okoboji, IA. With over 100 muskies caught and released during this Record setting Event. 1st Place honors went to the Team of Jason Summers & Dan Wojtusik with a new PMTT record 16 muskies. TTAP and Friday’s Big Fish was a whopping 50.25” caught by the Team of Amanda Wilson & Megan Steinmetz. Saturday’s Big Fish was another beauty 49.5” caught by the Team of Keith & Kevin Strasser. I have attached some photos of the Leaderboard, Awards and some of the Beautiful Big Fish caught at the Event. Up next is the Recon Boats World Championship on Lake of the Woods NW Angle, MN – September 17th, 18th & 19th, 2026
