SonarChart™ Live and Dock-

to-dock Autorouting

to be

Demonstrated at Major

Industry Show

Navionics will showcase several recent innovations and expanded compatibility during ICAST 2016, the world’s biggest sportfishing trade show, taking place July 12 – 15 in Orlando, Florida. Once again, the company is creating opportunities for boaters to benefit from the latest wireless technologies, enhanced community-driven charts, and advanced functionality available on plotter and mobile devices.

The show kicks off on Tuesday, July 12th with ICAST On the Water, a special event for dealers and media representatives on nearby Lake Toho. Attendees are invited to come onboard the Navionics demo boat and see SonarChart™ Live and Dock-to-dock Autorouting in action. These revolutionary technologies are already available to the public!

SonarChart™ Live

SonarChart™ Live allows boaters to create new personal 1 ft/0.5 m HD bathymetry maps that display in real time while navigating. What’s new is that now boaters who own Raymarine a, c, e, eS and gS multi-function displays with software updated to LightHouse II Release 17 can view SonarChart Live directly on their plotter screen!

SonarChart Live can also be enabled on the Boating app by connecting wirelessly from an iPhone, iPad or Android device to a variety of compatible plotters/sounders. A few options for boaters include SonarPhone T-BOX 200 and 300 from Vexilar and Lowrance HDS Gen3 displays, which all have embedded Wi-Fi, or any sounder or plotter connected to a compatible Wi-Fi router, such as Navico GoFree WIFI-1 Module or Digital Yacht’s Sonar Server. In addition, Raymarine Dragonfly PRO 4, 5, 7 and the Wi-Fish enable SonarChart Live while also providing CHIRP DownVision in split-screen; Dragonfly PRO also offers a fishfinder view.

Dock-to-dock Autorouting

Award-winning Dock-to-dock Autorouting is a unique breakthrough in boating navigation that quickly creates detailed routes even through narrow waterways and channels, based on chart data and nav aids. Introduced first on the Boating app for iPhone and iPad, this amazing technology is also now available on Raymarine MFDs with software updated to LightHouse II Release 17.

Throughout ICAST, Navionics will also inform attendees about:

Navionics Updates

Expanded compatibility means that more boaters can take advantage of Navionics Updates and get Navionics+ for only $99 using an eligible Navionics card, as well as cards from C-MAP, Fishing Hot Spots, Garmin, LakeMaster, Lowrance Insight and NauticPath, and TrakMaps, to activate Navionics Updates.

Plotter Sync

Using Plotter Sync, Raymarine Wi-Fi plotter owners can transfer routes and markers, upload sonar logs for an enhanced SonarChart™ and update their eligible plotter card conveniently through the Navionics Boating app.

Web API

The Navionics Web API provides a simple solution for embedding Navionics cartography into any website along with advanced features to better engage online audiences and promote on-the-water activities.
