Major League Fishing Announces 2027 Toyota Series Schedule
Toyota Series Championship to be held on Bill Dance Signature Lake Dale Hollow Lake

BENTON, Ky. (July 29, 2026) – Major League Fishing (MLF) announced today the 2027 Toyota Series Presented by Phoenix Boats schedule featuring 15 regular-season tournaments across five divisions and the season-ending Toyota Series Championship. The 2027 season will begin in February on Florida’s legendary Lake Okeechobee and conclude in November with the Championship held on Bill Dance Signature Lake Dale Hollow Lake in Byrdstown, Tennessee.

“The 2027 Toyota Series schedule offers our anglers a tremendous mix of iconic fisheries, regional favorites and venues that consistently produce exciting tournament action,” said MLF Toyota Series Tournament Director Mark McWha. “The Toyota Series continues to provide grassroots anglers with an affordable opportunity to compete for significant payouts while testing their skills against some of the best anglers in their region. We are excited about the schedule we have assembled and believe it will deliver an outstanding season of competition from the opening event through the championship.”

Recognized as one of the nation’s premier tournament trails, the Toyota Series provides anglers with the highest payouts at the lowest entry fees available on a national level. Competitors can fish close to home on familiar regional waters while pursuing substantial awards and the opportunity to advance to the nationally televised Toyota Series Championship.

The 2027 championship on Dale Hollow Lake continues the strong relationship between Major League Fishing, the Byrdstown-Pickett County Chamber of Commerce, Tennessee Department of Tourist Development and the Bill Dance Signature Lakes program. The event will showcase one of Tennessee’s most celebrated fisheries while bringing championship-level competition and anglers from across the country to Byrdstown and Pickett County.

“We are thrilled and honored to host the Major League Fishing 2027 Toyota Series Championship in Byrdstown and Pickett County on beautiful Dale Hollow Lake,” said Bryan Arms, Executive/Tourism Director of the Byrdstown-Pickett County Chamber of Commerce. “This event will bring anglers, visitors and fans from around the world to our destination. We look forward to helping them create memorable experiences while giving our community the opportunity to share everything that makes our Tennessee small town so special.”

“Dale Hollow Lake is a world-class fishery with a rich history, and it is an ideal setting for the Toyota Series Championship,” said Dennis Tumlin, Chief Customer Officer of the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development. “Our partnership with Major League Fishing allows us to showcase not only the incredible fishing opportunities available on Tennessee’s lakes, but also the communities, businesses and people who make these destinations so welcoming. We are proud to help bring this championship to Byrdstown and look forward to a world-class event for the anglers and everyone who comes to experience Dale Hollow Lake.”

The winning pro at the 2027 Toyota Series Championship will also earn a coveted invitation to REDCREST 2028, Major League Fishing’s most prestigious championship event, where a top prize of $300,000 will be on the line.
