DAY 1 RECAP – FRIDAY, NOV. 19, 2021
Bass Pro Shops US Open National Championship
Long Creek Marina, Ridgedale, Mo.

The Bass Pro Shops US Open National Bass Fishing Amateur Team Championships – a first-of-its-kind amateur fishing tournament offering the biggest payout in fishing history ($1 million to the first-place winner) – kicked off this morning on Table Rock Lake in Ridgedale, Mo.

350 angler teams from more than 34 states and five countries fished with the goal of placing in the top 200 teams to advance to the next day of competition on Saturday, Nov. 20. Please see below for a quick recap of today’s action and preview for Saturday’s action.
DAY 1 RESULTS

The top 200 teams have advanced to fish on Saturday, Nov. 20. The top 50 teams from Saturday’s final standings will advance to the Sunday finale and opportunity to fish for $1 million dollars.

WHAT TO KNOW FOR THE WEEKEND:

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20
Location: Long Creek Marina, Ridgedale, Mo.
6:30-7 AM – National Championship “Lines In” Ceremony and Day 2 begins

 

7:30 AM – 12 PM – Johnny Morris Happy Fishin’ Kids Contest winners participate in boating and fishing demo with celebrity anglers Bill Dance, Jimmy Houston and Roland Martin

 

11 AM-5 PM – Fan village open to the public, with activities for the entire family, including food, inflatables and games, live music and vendor displays

 

2-3:30 PM – Angler Weigh-in

 

4:30 – 5 PM – Angler Awards Ceremony announcing Top 50 teams advancing to Sunday final

 

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 21

6:30-7 AM – National Championship Finale “Lines In” Ceremony

 

11 AM-5 PM – Fan village open to the public, with activities for the entire family, including food, inflatables and games, live music and vendor displays

 

1:30-2 PM – US Open Kids Fishing Competition Weigh-in and Awards Ceremony

 

3-4 PM – Final National Championship Weigh-in

 

4-5 PM – Final Angler Awards Ceremony; $1 Million Grand Prize Awarded to First Place Team

 

5 PM – Championship Celebration & Special Guests
