Back to School 101: Bass Pro Shops
SAN ANTONIO, TX (September 3, 2019) – Welcome to Lesson 1 of “Back to School 101.” This is a seven-part educational series designed to educate college anglers on various brands, tournament
schedules, and discount information associated with the tournament trail. Today’s lesson will focus on Bass Pro Shops, the title sponsor of the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series.
Last season marked the first full year that Bass Pro Shops was the title sponsor of this prestigious college trail. Since the very beginning, Cabela’s had been directly affiliated with Association of Collegiate Anglers, and the College Series. Following a recent merger between the two premier outdoor retailers, Bass Pro Shops has assumed the role as title sponsor.
Series Logo Contingency
New for the 2019-2020 season, all anglers must have the updated series logo on their jersey to qualify for the ACA Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series Contingency. Click here for program details. Since the change occurred mid-season last year, we grandfathered in any anglers with the old series logo. That will not be the case this year. Be sure to check into the program details to be fully compliant for the upcoming year. Download the series logo.
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Logo Contingency
To go along with the ACA Logo Contingency, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s also offer all college anglers the opportunity to participate in the Logo Contingency program. The two brands have committed to awarding up to $40,000 total in gift cards to qualifying anglers throughout the season. By adhering to logo guidelines and finishing as the highest qualified angler, you could go home with as much as $1,000 in gift cards from a given event. 25% Off Discount Card
Known for their tradition of bringing outdoor enthusiasts the best products in the world, Bass Pro Shops is eager to continue that tradition with the younger generation. As a sign of their commitment and dedication, Bass Pro Shops has implemented several discounts and contingencies available to anglers competing on the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series.
All anglers competing on the trail are eligible to apply for a Bass Pro Shops Discount Card. A program that has been around for nearly 15 years, this Discount Card provides anglers with 25% off all Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s proprietary brands. To qualify for this incentive, college anglers must still be in school and have fished in at least one of the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series events in the past months.
