Both fish were released, but there was no word on whether the pike came back for seconds. The pike landed Syrstad, who works at Century Electric in Grand Forks, big fish honors in the northern pike category during the trip.<\/p>\n<p>Top five in the walleye category were Mike Compton, Grand Forks, first, 26\u00bd inches; Tom Karel, Grand Forks, second, 26 inches; Jerry Hoffarth, Grand Forks, third, 26 inches; Hal Haliday, Grand Forks, fourth, 26 inches; and Eric Halstenson, Grand Forks, fifth, 25\u00bd inches.
