So we just had to keep grinding it out until they bit.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Once they had caught four fish, they thought they had a good chance of winning the tournament. &ldquo;The fish were there,&rdquo; Schneider said. &ldquo;We just had to get them to bite.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Saturday&rsquo;s leaders, Jim Vogds and Gary Sabel of Fond du Lac, dropped to 16th place with 22.88 pounds of walleye, their total on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Anglers caught 478 fish Saturday and 436 on Sunday. Fifteen of the top 25 teams reached the five-fish limit Saturday, while only 10 of the top 25 teams reached the limit Sunday. Because there was a slight east wind Sunday, many fishers came back with a limited amount catch or several small fish.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We had a lot of teams who had decent weights yesterday (Saturday) and couldn&rsquo;t put a bag together today (Sunday),&rdquo; Keith Kavajecz, the master of ceremonies, said.<\/p>\n<p>Six of the top 10 teams had at least one member from Fond du Lac.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest fish caught Sunday was 6.9 pounds by Kyle and Mark Petrie of Fond du Lac. Saturday&rsquo;s biggest fish was caught by Carig Bohn, of Rosendale, and Casey Bohn, of Fond du Lac, weighing 7.4 pounds. Each team will take home a 9.9 horesepower Mercury motor for their boats.<\/p>\n<p>Cash prizes were awarded to the top 65 teams.
