There are no doubts, however, about the amount of feed and the numbers of salmon.<\/p>\n<p>A color-coded satellite image taken this week shows high levels of chlorophyll from phytoplankton, the foundation of the marine food chain, in the ocean off the San Mateo County coast. That\u2019s likely to result in large areas of krill and other food sources of salmon.
