This tournament has been set up to address hunger in the Holland area. All funds will go to ONWM. All fish donated will go to Community Action House Kitchen (Holland).<\/p>\n
Our sponsors have made their donations with the understanding that the anglers are donating their fish and then get to participate in a great raffle. Our hope is that all fish will be donated to The Order of Naucratius so that we can process and distribute to Community Action House.<\/p>\n
If you are not in line by 1:00 pm your team will not qualify for any prizes.<\/p>\n
We will fish predicted seas of 1-2′ or less. (or game day call). In the event that the tournament is cut short due to weather, the weigh-in will be held 45 min after the cancellation and points will be awarded. If small craft advisories are in effect we will not fish. Sunday, August 26, will be the makeup date if weather prohibits us from fishing Saturday. If both dates are cancelled due to weather, we will still hold the raffle and there will be no refunds for the registration (but we promise we will put the funds to good use. This is our only fundraiser for the year).<\/p>\n
There will be TWO raffles at the weigh-in:::::<\/p>\n
RAFFLE # 1 PRIZES (excluding Fish Hawk)
\n1st place-10 tickets, trophy, $100
\n2nd place-8 tickets
\n3rd place-6 tickets
\n4th place-4 tickets
\n5th place-2 tickets
\nBiggest fish- $50<\/p>\n
***Additional raffle tickets may be purchased at the weigh-in for $5 a ticket or 5 tickets for $20. Tickets will only be sold the day of the event and you must be present to win. Raffle open to the public.
\nBoats may use a maximum of 9 rods (3 man limit)<\/p>\n
RAFFLE #2 PRIZE: Fish Hawk (retail value of $850)
\nRegister and Pay by August 10 at 11:59 p.m.-1 ticket per team
\nNo additional tickets may be purchased for Raffle #2<\/p>\n
Heaviest box (donated) 3 man limit – $500 cash<\/p>\n
Tournament Rules:<\/p>\n
3 man DNR fish limit (fish a maximum of 9 lines).<\/p>\n
Each boat will weigh 5 fish total of the following species (king, coho, steelhead, brown, lake trout).
\nEach fish is worth 10 points plus the weight. Know your big fish, you will have one chance to weigh it.<\/p>\n
There is an optional captain’s meet-up at Big Lake Brewing on Friday, August 16, at 7 pm. I’d like to buy you a beer (or soda pop) and answer questions and tell you about Naucratius. You are welcome to bring your crew but they have to buy their own beer \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
