GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) – It’s no secret that fishing is big around Gadsden county, and this weekend many people will be hoping for that big catch.<\/p>\n

WTXL ABC 27’s Jada Williams was live Friday morning with more on how those anglers are bringing in more money for the county.<\/p>\n

Terry Richard is a tournament angler.<\/p>\n

“It’s gorgeous, the location is great, the people are great, there’s always somewhere to hide out of the wind,” he said.<\/p>\n

You can usually find people reeling in a nice catch on Lake Talquin.<\/p>\n

“Recreational fishing is all about going out to catch food for the table,”<\/p>\n

Richard said.<\/p>\n

But this isn’t recreational<\/p>\n

“That’s our eyes under water.”<\/p>\n

It’s the National Crappie Fishing Tournament.<\/p>\n
